South Bridge Goderich Long Term Care Facility

A new six-storey long-term care facility delivering 160 beds supported by efficient mechanical and electrical systems designed for safety, comfort, and reliable daily operation.

Project Description

The Southbridge Goderich Long Term Care Facility project involved the construction of a new six-storey, 108,000 sq. ft. building designed to provide high-quality, resident-centered long-term care for seniors in the Huron County region. Built by Vandel Construction, with J.M.R. Electric Ltd. completing both the mechanical and electrical scopes of work, this modern facility adds 160 new long-term care beds to the community’s healthcare capacity.

The project was designed to create a comfortable, safe, and home-like environment while integrating modern building systems and sustainable infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

The completed Southbridge Goderich Long Term Care Facility strengthens local healthcare services by providing a modern, accessible, and compassionate environment for residents while supporting the future of long-term care in the Goderich community.
