Maple Leaf Foods

A large-scale HVAC project delivering custom ductwork, rooftop systems, and regulated air handling solutions for Maple Leaf’s cutting-edge food processing facility.

Project Description

J.M.R. Electric Ltd. was proud to be the HVAC Mechanical Contractor for the state-of-the-art Maple Leaf Foods processing plant in London, Ontario. Our scope of work included the supply and installation of complete HVAC systems, featuring custom-fabricated welded and non-welded stainless steel and galvanized ductwork ranging in size from 4”Ø to 64”Ø and 6”x6” to 66”x66”.

All duct systems were constructed in accordance with SMACNA industrial duct construction standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements for food production environments. JMR also completed the installation of rooftop HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, make-up air units, exhaust fans, variable volume boxes, and unit heaters, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and air quality throughout the facility.

This project showcases JMR’s expertise in complex industrial HVAC installations within highly regulated food production environments, delivering reliable systems that meet the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and performance.
