Art Haus Apartments

Two modern residential towers with premium amenities supported by efficient mechanical systems delivering comfort, reliability, and seamless integration within a total-precast design.

Project Description

ArtHaus is a landmark residential development consisting of two contemporary, total-precast apartment towers inspired by the work of celebrated Canadian landscape painter Homer Watson. Designed and built with a focus on modern living, community connectivity, and premium condo-style amenities, ArtHaus brings elevated multi-residential standards to the Kitchener area.

Tower A rises twelve storeys and houses 233 suites, while Tower B provides an additional eight storeys with 130 suites. Residents benefit from an extensive selection of amenities, including a fitness centre, business hub, basketball court, outdoor playground, pet wash station, bicycle parking and repair area, storage lockers, and a community room with a full kitchen. The development also features a signature rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen and grilling stations, offering impressive views and social spaces.

The project includes 287 underground parking stalls and 178 surface spaces, several equipped with Electric Vehicle charging capabilities.

Working alongside Melloul Blamey Construction, JMR Electric Ltd. delivered the full Mechanical Trade scope for the ArtHaus development. This included the installation, coordination, and commissioning of all mechanical systems essential to the towers’ functionality and comfort—HVAC systems, plumbing infrastructure, mechanical equipment, and amenity-related mechanical services. JMR ensured precise integration of systems within the precast structure while maintaining seamless collaboration with the construction and design teams.

Through strong coordination and high-quality workmanship, JMR contributed to the successful completion of a modern, efficient, and amenity-rich residential community that enhances the city’s growing multi-residential landscape.

Electrical Scope

JMR was responsible for mechanical trades only.
