The Stayner Long Term Care Facility is a three-storey, 128-bed home developed for Jarlette Health Services, forming part of a larger continuum of care campus in Stayner, Ontario. This modern expansion enhances the existing centre by adding 79 new long-term care beds to the original 49-bed facility, while introducing 23 apartment rental units designed to support seniors across varying levels of independence.
The redevelopment prioritizes comfort, accessibility, and resident well-being, offering private and basic rooms (no ward rooms), larger communal spaces, and full air conditioning throughout. The design ensures a welcoming, home-like atmosphere that supports dignity and connection for every resident.
J.M.R. Electric Ltd. was responsible for both the mechanical and electrical scopes on this project, including the supply and installation of HVAC, plumbing, heating, and domestic water systems, as well as power distribution, lighting, life safety, and communications systems. JMR’s integrated approach ensured seamless coordination across building systems to support the facility’s efficiency, comfort, and long-term reliability.
