Exeter Apartments (West Market Lofts)

A mixed-use development featuring 62 modern apartments and retail space supported by efficient mechanical systems designed for comfort, performance, and seamless residential–commercial integration.

Project Description

The West Market Lofts development is a landmark mixed-use project in South Huron County, introducing 62 modern residential units along with ground-floor retail and integrated amenity spaces. Designed to support a vibrant and connected community, the building combines 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments with commercial frontage, enclosed parking, and rooftop amenities—resulting in one of the region’s most substantial new urban developments.

JMR Electric Ltd., working in partnership with Lester Group, delivered the full Mechanical scope for this project. Our team was responsible for the installation, coordination, and commissioning of all mechanical systems, supporting the development’s vision of a highly efficient, comfortable, and adaptable living environment. This included HVAC distribution, plumbing systems, mechanical room installations, and equipment connections essential for both residential and commercial operations.

Throughout the project, JMR maintained a high level of coordination with the ownership, design, and construction teams to ensure system integration aligned seamlessly with the building’s architectural and functional objectives. Our contributions supported the successful realization of a high-quality mixed-use building that enhances the community and sets a new standard for development within the region.
